They say that vinyl wrapped vehicles have the ability to get upwards to 30,000 impressions a DAY. Not only is vinyl great for vehicles but it is also one of the most common ways to decorate your windows and storefront. Opake Screen Printing has the ability to print directly on to the vinyl material creating endless options to get creative.
VINYL CAR DECALS AND WRAPS
Vinyl decals have many purposes. One popular use of this media is to promote local business. People do this by creating vinyl decals of their logos. We have the ability to do full printed graphics/ wraps. This method is great for logos with multiple colors, gradients, and different textures within the design. Opake also uses a cast vinyl material with a different array of color selection for simple text and silhouette designs. We only use top of the line material that has great adhesion and is backed with warranty. There are special precautions that need to be taken before install to ensure a long lasting end product. The first thing we do is wash the surface area with a soap that won’t leave wax or scum. Next we use isopropyl to get off the heavy grime; this eliminates contamination that may cause bubbles or impurity to the decal. Lastly we use heat to post cure the application.
VINYL WALL DECALS & WALL WRAPS
Manufacturers make vinyl with different ingredients. The two different types of vinyl used in the signage industry are cast and calendar. Cast conforms to curves and can be stretched. Calendar vinyl is great for flat surfaces like walls! At Opake screen printing we have the ability to print directly onto the material and laminate it for extra strength and protection. No matter how big the surface area may be, we can panel the vinyl, breaking the design up into sections that can overlap and align. This process is perfect for large wall wraps.
VINYL STICKERS AND DECALS
Stickers are a great cost effective route to help promote and brand an idea or business. We offer a few different custom sticker options to help stick an impression! One option is a print and cut sticker. Print and cut is perfect for those high color designs. In our graphic design software, We can go in and add a contour cut line that fits well with your design. With the print and cut sticker we can add a matte or gloss lamination to help protect from the UV rays also adding a cool look to the finished product! The other sticker option we offer is dye cuts. This process is where we take a solid vinyl material and cut it using our vinyl plotter. With Dye cut stickers we can use an assortment of different color material making it easy to achieve some really attractive looks. We aren’t just limited to dye cut stickers and print/ cut, we can also make sheet stickers. Sheet stickers are a cost effective way for making labels. With this method, we can print and cut sheets of vinyl which is easy for peeling and installing on bottles or containers. These stickers have the option to be laminated for extra protection.
